Nick Frascone Named 2009 Mason of the Year
Feb 2010
Brother Nick Frascone was awarded Mason of the year for 2009 at our annual Ladies Night and Awards Banquet held at MESH at the close of 2009. This award was presented to Brother Frascone for his faithful performance of his duties to the Lodge. “Nick’s regular Lodge attendance can always be counted on,” said Brother Phil Diltz, who presented Nick with his award. “He always fills in where needed, and is always at our practices where he is willing to accept new challenges. He earned this award for his energetic work and most of all his obvious zeal for Masonry and the spreading of friendship and brotherly love.”

Nick and his wife moved to Greensboro four years ago from Massachusetts. They now live in Brown Summit in a home they rebuilt last year. Brother Nick has been in the construction industry since 1998 after enrolling in an apprenticeship program with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters in Boston MA. He’s also spent time working as a commercial diver. Nick now works as a safety manager for Miles- McClellan Construction in Greensboro.
“I was honored and humbled to receive the Mason of the Year award for 2009,” Nick said. “It was very inspiring to see other brothers receiving their 50th and 60th anniversary pins at the awards banquet.

Nick was raised on Aug 4th, 2008 alongside Brother Brian Bailey.
“Brother Bailey and I spent many wonderful and insightful hours studying under the guidance of Worshipful Brother Allen Spain,” Nick said.
“There are many great role models within our regular lodge attendees, and I aspire to be included among them as a leader and motivator in the eyes of new candidates and junior members.”

Congratulations Brother Nick on receiving this well deserved award.
